BLUE OCEAN PRODUCTIONS is a high definition video production company based in Ventura, California. Owner and executive producer Jim Knowlton combines 15 years of experience working on Shark Week documentaries for the Discovery Channel, on the series Jean-Michel Cousteau Ocean Adventures for PBS, on Superfish Bluefin Tuna for National Geographic, and on hundreds of short films, promotional videos, public service announcements and sizzle reels. Blue Ocean Productions also draws on the talents of additional artists on a per-project basis. Jim shoots a Canon 5D Mark lll in an Aquatica Housing, a 5D Mark ll in an Aquatica Housing, a Sony EX1 in a Gates Housing, and Sony EX3 and V1U in Amphibico Housings.
