We’ve Moved to a New Office!
We are happy to share that Blue Ocean Productions has moved into a new office. After years of working, growing, and serving our clients, it was time to take this step forward.
Our new address is:

This is now the place where we will meet clients, plan projects, edit videos, and continue doing the work we love. We share the upstairs floor with the MERITO Foundation above Rayne Water Conditioning in Ventura.
Professional Video Editing Suite
Most video editing can be done remotely without client assistance, but if you want to take part in the edit you can enjoy our spacious professional video editing suite.
Our equipment room holds a lot of production gear and the Husky workbench comes in handy to assemble gear before our shoots.

Now that you know about our new location, we also want to remind you of the services we provide. Our goal is to help businesses, organizations, and individuals tell their stories in the most powerful and effective way. Video is our main tool, but creativity, planning, and communication are just as important. Here’s a closer look at what we do.
1. Corporate and Commercial Videos
One of our main areas of work is producing videos for businesses. These videos can take many forms: brand introductions, training videos, promotional films, or client testimonials. A good corporate video does more than show information, it communicates the values and personality of the business.
In our new office, we now have better facilities to meet with clients, understand their goals, and shape videos that truly reflect their brand. Every company has a story, and our job is to tell it in a way that connects with the right audience.
2. Short Films and Documentaries
We also produce short films and documentaries that capture real stories with authenticity and visual depth. Whether it’s a community initiative, environmental project, or a personal journey, we approach each film with careful planning, multiple cameras, and professional audio to ensure nothing is missed.
Our new office provides a comfortable space to review footage with clients and refine the edit together. Whether the goal is a compelling short film for social media or a full-length documentary, we make sure the story’s emotion and spirit shine through.
Some stories are best told from above. As FAA-licensed drone operators, we can safely and legally capture aerial footage that adds a dramatic perspective to any project. In the Ventura–Oxnard region, we’re able to obtain FAA authorization to fly in or near restricted airspace near our three airports.
Aerial imagery is especially powerful for commercials, construction monitoring, real estate, tourism, or simply giving a new angle to your story.
4. Underwater Filming
This is one of the services that makes Blue Ocean Productions stand out. True to our name, we also specialize in underwater videography. From marine life to environmental projects, underwater footage can tell stories that few others can capture.
This requires special equipment, experience, and creativity. Our new space gives us better room to prepare, store, and manage this equipment, making it easier to take on more of these unique projects.
5. Editing and Post-Production
Filming is just the beginning. What happens in the editing room often makes the biggest difference. This is where raw footage becomes a polished, powerful story.
Our editing process includes color correction, sound design, motion graphics, and more. The new office includes improved editing suites, which means we can work more efficiently while giving every project the attention it deserves.
We also invite clients to join us in reviewing edits in our new meeting space. This makes collaboration smoother and ensures the final video matches your vision.
6. Scriptwriting and Creative Planning
Not every client comes with a clear idea in mind. Sometimes you know you need a video but aren’t sure where to start. That’s where our creative consulting comes in.
We work with clients to develop scripts, outlines, and storyboards. We help shape the message so the video connects with the right audience. Our new office has space for workshops, brainstorming sessions, and planning meetings where these ideas can come to life.
7. Social Media Content
Today, short and engaging videos are essential for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn. We create videos that are tailored for social media, designed to capture attention in just a few seconds.
These might include product teasers, behind-the-scenes clips, or fast-paced ads. With the new office, we have a better workflow for producing multiple versions of content, so you can use them across different platforms.

Our office is located on the second floor of a building that does not have an elevator. We understand this may present a challenge for individuals with mobility limitations, and we genuinely care about making our services accessible to everyone. To ensure all clients can connect with us comfortably, all meetings are by appointment, and I’m happy to meet at an accessible location in Ventura, or connect by phone or video call.
